![]() We just got two Crossover Symmetry sets in our gym, and we're planning to get more. I have mentioned the post to one of the product managers in case he wants to jump in and add anything. I don't have a dog in this fight - I was just giving an opinion on a product that I like and use. They have recently started marketing towards CF athletes and affiliates - the CrossOver name isn't some cheap grab to be similar to CrossFit. I believe this company has been around for 5-10 years or more providing their system to MLB teams and players. I haven't been to a huge number of other affiliates but I haven't seen a single one have their members do these exercises so it is not common to implement this. I like the convenience of what I get from them - our members are using it and like Brian said it is a good program. Then I would have to research and come up with my own protocol to give to my athletes - something I am not an expert on but I certainly could spend the time researching and asking our local PT's for some assistance. Kyle asked if anyone had any experience using the product - I have and I like it.Ĭould the parts be sourced separately cheaper? Sure, they probably could. I typically stay off the board for that reason. Not looking for this to become a sarcasmfest post like 90% of what happens on this board so please don't take any of my responses out of context. If you know what the problems are granted most coaches would not you can purchase bands and use a rig to create the same thing. The program is important, they are not magic bands. You can get the same thing for under $100. ![]() Really? What makes you think that he wasn't given some to endorse them?Īlso, despite Mark's sarcasm, he's correct. Tommy isn't going to install something at his gyms that are gimmicky or don't produce results.Īs a box owner I like it because it makes it easy for members which in turn keeps compliance high. ![]() He said that he was going to have every member use it every day at his box - I saw that they installed 10 stations at each of his 2 boxes a month or 2 ago. He and his team started using the protocol 2 months out from the Games - he told me at the Games that the team's shoulders had never felt stronger which is not normally the case by the time they get to the Games - they are usually feeling pretty beat up by then. I thought the same thing as did Tommy when I asked him about it. ![]()
